Morning. Routine. In details.

1st step: Cleanser
All time favorite La Mer Cleansing Foam along with Foreo Luna device is how I start my mornings. The cleansing foam leaves my skin clean, soft and hydrated (no tightness or over drying feeling), and Foreo Luna 2 for sensitive skin (comes in few other options) helps exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores. The device also claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles due to its low-frequency pulsations but there haven’t been any visible results as of yet. My preference goes to these products because in combination they achieve the best results: deeply purified and instantly fresh skin.

2nd step: Toner
After the cleansing step, it’s best to go over your face with a toner to remove any leftover residue and help your skin sooth. I like to use Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion 2 because it’s perfect for combination skin like mine: it sops up the oil where it’s oily, but deflakes where the skin is dry. In case of any break-outs my only go-to is the Anti-blemish solution. It’s gel formula is great for spot treatment that instantly dries and prevents from any new blemishes. Clinique is one of the brands that has helped me to find quick and effective solutions with various skin troubles, so cannot recommend this brand enough.

3rd step: Serum
My current favorite serum is La Mer Lifting Contour Serum due to its excellent ability to lift and contour my jawline: the gem that reduced the signs of aging (read more about it here).

4th step: Eye cream
As mentioned before hereLa Mer Lifting Eye Serum is an incredible product that has done wonders to my eye area. It lifts and tightens the skin around the eyes and reduces appearance of wrinkles but it is not enough on its own. La Mer Eye Balm Intense (with an applicator) adds the right amount of hydration as well as reduces the appearance of any dark circles.

5th step: Moisturizer
I have settled on La Mer Moisturizing Soft Lotion at the moment because it is ideal for combination skin, has a lightweight texture and super hydrating properties. For a more dewy completion I love adding few drops of the Renewal Oil into the moisturizer. The result is a perfectly hydrated base for any make-up application.

As you might have noticed my skincare routine is dominated by LaMer products, and you can learn more about my holy grail La Mer selection here.

P.S. For the past few weeks I have been trying and testing another miracle skincare line from Drunk Elephant (read more here).
